Louis Theroux explores innovative approaches to dementia care

Louise Theroux presents a timely documentary, following hard upon the launch of the Design Council’s Dementia Challenge. Theroux spends time with the staff and residents of Beatitudes, a residential carehome in Phoenix, Arizona. Beatitudes’ staff have an unusual approach to caring for residents whereby any delusional thoughts or actions are accommodated rather than contradicted. The programme, Louis Theroux – Extreme Love: Dementia is now available to view on the BBC iPlayer.
